What courage
It must have taken
That woman in Birmingham
To stand up to the rioters
To protect her shop.
And it worked.
Her courage was rewarded.
Perhaps there is a lesson
To be leaned here?
She has earned my sincere
Admiration for what she did.

She is lucky to be alive - much more than I can say for the poor gentleman from Ealing who has died because of his courage during the riots.
