Beautiful Day Full of Promise

Today, for the first time in what seems like months, I went for a walk to the cliffs to stare out at the sea. It was sunny and warm despite a cold wind at first. Even needed to wear my sunglasses so that has to be a good sign.

It was a wonderful spring-like day with the birds singing. A robin in a bush nearby was singing its little heart out. I feel so blessed living where I do where there is the sea in one direction and the moors in the other. Lots of space and breathtaking scenery.

Let's hope that this is a sign of things to come and we can look forward to more beautiful mild weather after the cold and rain we have been experiencing.
