Transparent drops
Of water that
Shine in the light
Like decorations.

While people waited
And walked
After hearing speeches
In serious friendliness

We arrived bit by bit,
But at last as a crowd;
To attend the demonstration
To open one of our
Hospital's wards
Apart from other
Complaints on the
Administration of funds
And services for our
Local hospital.

As they move

Achievement

I did it.
I completed the
National November
Writing Month Challenge
And I wrote 50,000 words.
I also learned a lot about myself
And how I write.
With so much encouragement
From kind and wonderful friends.

Writing

Some friends and I have decided to take part in the National November Writing month. The object is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. Quite a challenge and one of the reasons that I haven't been keeping up with my blogs quite as much as previously. Well, I'm three days into this challenge and have written over 5,000 words, so let's hope I can keep going until  I reach the target number! Updates will be issued on an as and when basis!

The sight of a soaring Buzzard
Brings a strong sense

On a purple-flowering shrub
Butterflies gather
In their numbers
To suck the nectar
Of the fragrant flowers.

Beautiful Coastline

With rugged cliffs
Of granite
Covered in
Grass and bracken
With the different
Moods of the sea
This is a beautiful coastline.

The soft golden glow
Spreads from
The setting sun
Promising a new day.

Temperate Cloud World

There is a part
Of West Cornwall
Which has it's own
Semi-permanent
Temperate Cloud World.
Will ecologists and climatologists
Come to investigate this phenomenon
I wonder?

Many mild skirmishes
