New flowers
Of the Berberis
As they come
To claim
Their prize.

The golden light
Of evening
Spills through
The trees
In exotic lace patterns.

A windy day in March
We perform at
The Tate in St Ives
On Mothers' Day
Singing our songs
To the background
Of the sound of the sea.

Just Bobbing Along

Nothing particularly new has happened
Life, day after day ensues,
Bringing lots of little delights
And surprises
Just bobbing along

Dissolving Mist

At first thick, grey, cloying
Sounds muffled, vision obscured
But gently, ever so gently
As the sun warms the land
Wisps evaporate
And all becomes clearer.

Looking Seaward

On a beautiful
March morning
A view across
The sea
Is tantalising . .

Immanent Spring

The yellow of gorse
Flowers along the cliffs
Kestrels hunt in pairs
As ravens perform
Courtship flights
Above the sea . . .

Saturday Afternoon

Watching the wind
Blow the trees
Against the
Background
Of blue sky
And the silence
Of Peace . .
