Walking between
Two Cornish hedges
My path was filled
With Ringlet butterflies
All around me.
As the sun sets
Into orange and pink
From his favourite perch
The blackbird proclaims
The close of the day.
On the branch of a tree
Taking lookout
And singing
Such a beautiful bird.
Discovered by accident
First on some gorse
And then by a path
The beauty of
The butterfly
Is revealed.
After a beautiful sunset
The moon rises
Graceful and radiant
To become full
Later tonight.
The buzz
Of a bumble bee
As it investigates
A bluebell
Brings sweet
Images of Spring.
Rich in black plumage
And orange bill;
Rich in song
And melody.
Inspiring
In depth and
Simplicity.
A joy of
Nature.
