The sight of a soaring Buzzard
Brings a strong sense
Of Freedom and Release;
Of lack of limitation
And the ability
To rise above the mundane.

Butterfly Paradise

On a purple-flowering shrub
Butterflies gather
In their numbers
To suck the nectar
Of the fragrant flowers.

Beautiful Coastline

With rugged cliffs
Of granite
Covered in
Grass and bracken
With the different
Moods of the sea
This is a beautiful coastline.

Eventide

The soft golden glow
Spreads from
The setting sun
Promising a new day.

Temperate Cloud World

There is a part
Of West Cornwall
Which has it's own
Semi-permanent
Temperate Cloud World.
Will ecologists and climatologists
Come to investigate this phenomenon
I wonder?

Strong winds blow
Echoing round the house

To the tune of the breeze.

Season of the Robin

Suddenly they're
All around
Singing from
Trees and bushes
Impressive in
Their red bibs
And sweet songs.

After the sun
Warmth and
Blue Skies
The mist
Has returned.

Wildlife Drama

All was calm on the land
But in the air
A battle raged
Between a Crow
And a Kestrel
Many mild skirmishes
Took place
Before the Kestrel
Finally admitted defeat
And the Crow retired
Triumphant.

Yellow flowers
Make brief

To greet
