Skylarks and Wheatears

Wheatear (bird image)DImage via Wikipedia

As it was such a beautiful morning yesterday and I had some free time, I went for a walk down to the cliffs. The sun was shining and if it hadn't been for the wind it would have seemed almost too hot. There were a lot of birds around. I noticed a flock of Goldfinches as well as some Skylarks who were singing on the open moor. I also noticed some Wheatears who were also very prevalent. The sea was a beautiful shimmering blue with a very low tide. I felt grateful to be alive and living in the vicinity in which I do.
