Blackbirds dive
Into the Berberis
To feast on
The ripe
Blue berries
Whilst keeping
An eye out
For interlopers.

      Thank you Rose - there was a great deal of interest in all the berries on the bush. They're still appearing every morning to eat the remaining berries!
