Like a banshee
The wind wails
As it tears
Palm fronds
From the tree
After a night
Of thunder
And lightning.
Definitely
Not the time
To cast a clout!

The wind has not let up here for days as well! What do you mean by 'cast a clout' this is the second time I have come across this phrase and I am very interested to know where it comes from and how it is used. I know it has something to do with storms,... thanks
