Civil Liberties

I've just been reading a report that there has been a large conference which has voiced concerns regarding the erosion of civil liberties in Britain, by the government, using the threat of terrorism as a carte blanche to introduce invasive measures against people's civil liberties.

Paradoxically this was reported on the same day that a piece was written about private health data of the Prime Minister and other famous Scots being hacked. Although the hacker was arrested this still raises the argument of the safety of this data, being collected on us mere mortals, if it can be hacked so easily.
